Drive the New 2015 Ford Mustang in Need for Speed Rivals Starting Today!

Ford Achievements Tips and Tricks

December 16, 2013

Have you discovered all the Ford content in Need for Speed Rivals? With the new 2015 Ford Mustang in the game, there isn’t a shortage of ways to rule Redview County. Whether you prefer to patrol the streets as a mighty cop or break all the rules as a rambunctious racer, there is something for everyone.
To go with your new 2015 Ford Mustang, the Ford achievements are a great way to attempt to push the boundaries of your skills in the powerful new Mustang. Even for seasoned players these achievements aren’t a drive in the park, so we’ve put together a few tips to help
"Deep Down, You Know You Want To" -Drive for 50 minutes in any Ford car
This one is fairly simple, as it can be done over time and on either faction. We recommend taking the 2015 Ford Mustang for a spin, as that’s something you just can’t do every day. Alternatively, you can drive the Ford GT, the 2014 Ford Mustang, or the Ford Shelby GT500. Any cumulative amount of time driven in a Ford car counts towards this achievement, but you’ll need to enter the garage after your drive to see the achievement appear.
"5, 4, 3, 2, Mach 1" -Get 50 seconds of Air time in any Ford car
Getting airtime is a little trickier. There are some cool places to try for jumps in the world, most notably the Kingfisher Bridge and the jump from the upper deck of the house in the Costal Villa area. Keep in mind; this is total air time in a Ford car, not in one jump. If you do get a single jump that lasts 50 seconds, that would be massively impressive and we’ll need to see it to believe it (@NeedforSpeed on Twitter).
“Lcnce N Rgstrtn Pls" -Bust 10 Racers in the Ford Mustang
The Shelby GT500 is unlocked at level 4 for Cops. Our recommendation is to stick with AIs when trying to take down a large number of racers in one session, Interceptor being a good event to get the trophy faster. Typically, the AIs are going to be an easier catch than real players. Not all the time, of course.
Another recommendation is to use your Pursuit Tech. It’s there for a reason! EMP is likely the strongest Pursuit Tech, but it also depends on how you utilize the others. Remember, you can spend SpeedPoints to upgrade your PursuitTech, a necessity for either faction. In Rivals, there is no shortage of ways to creatively take down Racers.

We hope these tips have been helpful, but more importantly, we hope you are absolutely loving all your great Ford content. The Ford Mustang inspires speed; now go inspire fear in your Rivals.
