Dead Rising 3's first DLC delayed until January for extra polish
Xbox One game's first expansion Operation Broken Eagle now scheduled to launch January 21.
Gamers awaiting the first expansion for Xbox One title Dead Rising 3
will need to wait a little longer. Microsoft announced today that the
game's Operation Broken Eagle DLC will now launch on January 21, a few
weeks after the game's previously announced December 24 release date.
"Adding
new content to the massive open world of Los Perdidos is a major
undertaking, and to ensure we provide the best possible experience for
players, we are putting a few additional weeks of polish and testing
into the episode before it’s released," Microsoft said in a statement.
"Stay tuned for additional updates."
Operation
Eagle puts you in the shoes of Spec Ops Commander Adam Kane who is on a
mission to capture the missing President of the United States.
In
addition to the new quest, the Operation Eagle expansion unlocks five
new weapons, one new combo weapon, one new vehicle, a new clothing
outfit, and additional gamerscore. On top of that, all experience points
unlocked in the Operation Eagle expansion will carry back to the main
Dead Rising 3 campaign, Capcom said.
The Operation Eagle DLC is included with the $30 Dead Rising 3 season pass
and can be purchased separately for $10. Three other expansions are
headed to Dead Rising 3 through the season pass, including DLC called
Fallen Angel, Chaos Rising, and The Last Agent.
